Man…that would be telling.
OK…It was an internal DDP production limited to 50 copies, intended only for employee distribution. It’s a variant cover to the last issue of AE.

Hey guys, I just discovered your website reading your #3 magazine (I got it from the CanJoeCon in Toronto). I would like to know who are those guys in desert camo… they look like: Outback, Patfinder and ??? (just below Hit and Run). Are they customs? Thanks!

@Tycondrius – Sorry, I missed your post. Starting from the left in that picture is: Night Force Falcon, Tripwire, Destro, Tele-Viper, Nano-BAT, Arctic Cobra Commander (heading toward the back) Scarlett (Quarel paint deco), training Snake_Eyes, Arctic Scarlet, Lava-Viper, Mission Disk Grunt, Firefly, Flint, Neo-Viper, Roadblock, Storm Shadow, ROC Cobra Commander, Red Star, Snake-Eyes, Elite Ice-Viper. I think what you’re seeing is Arctic Scarlett’s skis sticking up in front of that Firefly. The Firefly was a unused deco that would have comed 2-packed with Nunchuck in white back during the JVC days.

@Martin – The Outback, Pathfinder, and Dialtone figures were originally planned to be released in 97 together with a desert version of the original HQ. A few of these pre-production figures made their way into collector hands, but a full set is fairly rare.

That’s a canceled item from the 2.5″ Sigma 6 line, the Thunderwing (with Barrel Roll). General’s Joes has some awesome stuff here: http://generalsjoes.com/2009/06/10/sigma-6-celebration-day-3-the-unproduced/
