For those who saw it, do you have any thoughts, suggestions, likes/dislikes, or anything in general you would like to share with us. We appreciate all those who listed the booth as a highlight on their convention forms. We'd like to maintain this high level for next year.

The only thing that worries me is those stand up glass cases. Some day, someone's going to trip and bump into one of those, and about 10 grand of 2-ups and mockups will all come crashing down on top of each other.

Gary and I specifically pushed the two tables that each case up against, further back into the booth. This gave us some protection because the booth on each side of us had their tables guarding one side of the booth. I figured if anyone was going to walk up to the display from the sides would not be able to bump into them. Other than that, there was nothing else we could do. Currently, those cases are the best we can do, but we are always open to ideas on how to improve the display.

Those cases are 90 pounds a piece. While that could happen, It isn't that likely I don't think. But if you ask me, those cases were the best thing about the booth. I mean, how cool were they. That crap in them...pffft...what's that worth? :D

The cases are 90 pounds, but the glass pieces inside that hold up the figures are not attached, they just sit there. Even without someone bumping into it, one of those glass levels came very close to falling. Don't get me wrong though, those cases are an awesome way to get people to look at the booth, I just tend to worry about the little details.

I really enjoy looking at protos and how toys get from concept to finished product. Your booth gives me a chance to check out items I may never actually see.

Since we had our own booth to cover, I was only able to come by a couple times. Unfortunately, no one seemed interested in talking about what was in the cases. I made a few comments but no real feedback. Maybe it was just bad timing on my part.

I know you all are very passionate about this stuff and I appreciate the work you put into it. Just be a little more personable about it.

Huge highlight of the con for me! Umm as far as improving it...I'm not sure what all you could do really, because obviously being in a non-permanent location and having to watch over extremely valuable items, there are of course limitations in the way they can be displayed.

I know everyone's gonna want to say allow pictures to be taken, but I understand why you guys don't. Also, if I do end attending the con next year, I have a few things I'm gonna contribute to your cases, and while I don't know that I'd mind photos all that much it would be difficult to control which things people get photos of and which they don't.

How would the legality of it work out if maybe having Alyosha sell a cast of an unreleased figure like Iron Klaw or something at the booth? That would be pretty cool, and a good way to promote the site.

I'll have to put some thought in to this though, because honestly I don't think there is much that could be done to make it cooler. If you're a fan of history, protos, variants, etc. than this was easily the coolest thing at the con. I probably stopped by to look at it 10 times while I was there to try and soak it all in.
