My big project is finally setting up my Joe room. I recently moved and have all my stuff stashed in the garage. I want to go thru all my collection and get rid of stuff I dont need or want. I have a really bad ass idea for my Joe room so when its finally done I'll post pics.

My other project is getting back into making cool GIJoe shirts for our online community. If you have any cool ideas or interest in the shirts let me know.

Recently, as in today, I found someone who might be able to find me the most recent versions of SE, Low-Light, and the Shock Trooper from POC. Joes are hit or miss in my area especially considering only collectors are buying them. Anybody going for vehicles? I must admit I'm not as big on them as I once was due to space limitations but I do enjoy the looks.

I'm mainly a 25th/ME style collector, my eventual goal is to have every ARAH character (some v2) and marvel comic characters represented in that format. Whether it be through Hasbro releases or making customs. the character designs of POC are great but for me they don't beat the nostalgioa of ARAH accurate figs. Really looking forward to the upcoming 30 for 30 line, hoping for all vintage looks.

i have all the figures from the 82-94 but i'm missing a few accessories. probably going to hit up some of that one of these days. i think the priciest piece i'm missing is Hardtop's mic and gun. other than that, it's a missile here or gun there from those evil trees.

also need to invest in clam shell cases. Notpicard's collection is all nice and organized in clam shells while mine are all still in rotted and split zip lock bags. those were a great idea until we realized they didn't last.

I'd like to finish my American collection, first. I'm waiting on the last 3 vehicles to arrive (already paid for), and then it's down to occasional accessories and vehicle parts - thankfully, nothing very rare. I'm also fairly close to closing up on my filecards, and I'd like to put that behind me.

My army-building of vintage figures has slowed down considerably, as trying to keep up with the newer ones has proved...problematic. Never before in my memory of collecting have I faced so much "competition" at the toy aisle for Joe figures. Part of that is geographic (San Diego), but also due in part I think to most newer collectors (those who came in at or after the 25th release) seem to have an "army-building bug" built in by default.

Beyond that, foreign figures are the name of the game. I've made good headway into Funskool and Brazil, and would like to close out the UK collection within the year. I just need all of you to stay off eBay for the time being. ;)

I never heard of the troop building concept until I got in with the 25th line. The most I've bought of troop builders are two each and usually not on purpose as I would buy cases that had two of each in them.

My collecting is starting to wind down due partly to space, due partly to paying off my car early and getting money for a downpayment on a house, and due partly to picking back up a Lego habit.

I've picked up a handful of POC, but I'm mostly just grabbing the classic figures like Low-Light and the upcoming Crazy Legs. I'm pretty sure I'll bite on the Skystriker when it comes out. I'm grabbing the Classic and Special Missions trades from IDW and the ARAH series. Probably switching to trades on their main series when season 2 comes out.

I'm almost to the point where I'm content with what I have as a GIJoe collector and happy to pick up the new things that interest me, but not compelled to get one of everything.

I think I'm at the point where I'm done collecting new product unless it's something really special or certain characters. I don't have the room to keep it all anymore and don't have the ability to display it. Along with probably moving in a couple of months and having less space to store it all...

So I think I'll end up concentrating on just the oddball stuff, unreleased stuff, canceled stuff, etc...

I still would kill for the Desert Outback/Dial-Tone/Pathfinder figures from that unreleased headquarters set.

I'm not working on much of anything right now. I have been trying to increase my numbers of a few 25th/ME army builders, but otherwise I largely have what I want.
