Hello fellow members,
This is a great site and I have lurked over here a few times but figured that I might as well join and give you the declassified version of me. My codename is Starfighter. I am on a lot of the Joe boards. I am no expert in G.I. Joe, I just have a lot of passion and experience though collecting. Sorry in advance if I come across as condescending. I truly am not and am more joyful and passionate for the hobby. I tend to stick up for the underdog and those being pushed around and that sometimes comes back on me. Again, sorry if any of you have been effected by my comments in the past. The good thing is that most of what I say is positive though.
About me:
My passion to this hobby started since the beginning of the ARAH run in 1982 as a birthday present when I was at a young age of 5 with my twin brother. I got all of the '82 stuff back then and '83 stuff as well through birthdays and Christmas. It helped having a twin as we would get more presents to share back then, thus getting everything G.I. Joe. I collected when I could through '87 and then stopped until 2001. I would always be the G.I. Joe for Halloween every year and loved the cereal as it was G.I. Joe as well. I really loved the mail-ins from the club back then and loved looking at the Sears catalog while drooling and circling the Joe stuff that I wanted back then for my birthday or Christmas. Also, I really loved the G.I. Joe Train set that I got back then as well. Most of all, I loved the Cartoon as a kid. I never did get into the comics until 2001.
Since 2001, I have been a completest and collected everything so far (except the Sigma 6 labeled stuff, nothing against it, I just did not want the different scale stuff as army-building in the 3.75 scale was too expensive already).
Also, more to brag on myself since this is the time to do it, I was in the Navy and since moved over to the Army (blue-to-gold). I can speak 5 languages from my time living in Denmark. I also collect DC Universe Classics, Halo figures and everything in 1:18 (4-inch) military scale. Sorry in advance if I post a lot of pictures and make checklists on the boards. I read a lot of comics these days as well. I love sports as well, especially college football-Boomer Sooner!
Many thanks for your time everyone and YO JOE!

Fantastic intro, this noob welcomes you aboard! I feel as passionate as you do my friend, the brand consumes my life. I should probably have my head examined.
