I agree, this Iron Grenadier doesn't mesh with the older version, but I think it does mesh well with the new Destro. I agree, I have no idea why the stabilizer arm was missing...I would imagine they had two backpacks to try and make up for the fact that one wasn't included with Destro.

I tried using Destro's stabilizer arm with this weapon, and it works okay, but not quite as well as it does on Destro himself.

Wow, the gold paint really brings out the details in the mask. The old IG with the red just looks so plain now.

I like the new head on the old body.

Some lazy partswapping with ROC chunks and POC Iron Grenadier and De$tro!

The red one's now Bloodbath, my SAW Viper commander! He's the De$tro body with the POC Grenadier's armor, ROC Night Adder head with POC Alley Viper helmet. The other one is the Grenadier body with De$tro armor and a ROC Ice Viper head. Third is just De$tro with an Ice Viper head.

Will definitely get another Iron Grenadier and De$tro for this armor/body combination as well.

Oh, and the Iron Grenadier head went on ROC Duke from the TRU COBRA 5-pack's body:

Oh my God, those are awesome!

Just shows what some simple head swaps can do. I am seriously impressed!

Grazie!

I'm no good at customizing action figures but I do fancy myself an A+ Lazy Partswapper. I've got a good eye for it, I think. :)

Why, thank you!

Lazy partswapping is one reason why Hasbro making many different versions of the core characters doesn't trouble me. I can often use them for parts and/or different characters.
