lots of future figures come to mind. i was curious on how you went about selecting what you were going to make next. didn't know if you held a site wide vote or if you have a list or something.

i can see how commissioned figures can suck the fun away. in my current hobby, i've had to revisit parts for friends that i'm finished with for my car and it's like dragging Artax through The Swamps of Sadness.

i'll try and pull out a figure or two that i made some time ago for fun. they're nothing like what you have. but they're something

no real selection process other than I want to have every figure, some v2's, and marvel comic characters in represented in my collection. I try to avoid making characters i think Hasbro will make. I have a list of about 100 or so to go, constantly checking over vintage figures going over the parts in my mind, then I'll see a new figure released with a part that would work perfect for such and such, and tha'ts generally how it starts.

please post some of your customs, would love to see them!

i made Sabre Tooth in 2004 or 5. Wild Bill came around the same time. i was in college then, so i had a ton of time on my hands :)

about 2 years ago, Pat you might remember better than me, but i decided i'd like to update my Tiger Force team with newer sculpts but the same characters. Outback was done first. i have Wild Bill and Frostbite both about half done. then i ran out of steam and they've sat in my customs Rubbermaid tub ever since. but posting these here have me getting the bug again.

thanks. getting the camo perfect took a few figures to get used to. toothpicks and patience.

i realize that new sculpt is pretty much the only customizing that gets done these days with their superior articulation and pure awesomeness with web gear and built in holsters and such. but i'm loyal. old sculpt is where i'm at. i don't do well with change.
