What would you like to see as a Con set next year?

I would love a set like this, but I think it's a little too soon to be profitable for the club. Most of the 25th collectors have no clue who most of those people are unfortunately. The renaissance of the new sculpt o-ring era really hasn't come about yet, maybe James' book will help with that.

I'd like a rescue type mission. Say Ace or someone we haven't gotten yet, like Skystriker in non TF colors, but maybe as Sky Patrol, gets shot down. Cobra dispatches two teams of troops and two cobra leaders. And then the Freebies could be Sky Patrol, considering we have most of the bodies for Sky Patrol, they could really push for it so I say why not.

Maybe switch out Ghost Bear for Interrogator or Scalpel. Ghost Bear could be in a 2 pack with Nuerotoxin or RazorClaw or Scalpel or Interrogator. The Vehicle could be the Desert/Jungle Humvee with Switch Gears or Rollbar. The DTC Hiss with a Cobra Coil or Rip It. And as a special pack Agent Faces with a bunch of gear to "desgise" himself as diffrent Cobra troopers and named characters.

Nice. I love it. I'd say Scalpel (over Ghost Bear) would be a must... that way, you could turn two of those Neo-Vipers into Medi-Vipers, too. On the Joe side, I'd go with Sgt. Hacker (or even Mariner!) over Red Spot or Major Barrage, because of their DDP comic book visibility, however limited. I'd make the two-pack Ghost Bear and Burnout. The DTC HISS and Agent Faces ideas are absolute gold.

That said, Roshan's probably right about their time not being right just yet. As a "SpyTroops 10th Anniversary" set, though...

10 years ago if you mentioned a Star Brigade set, it would be almost universally panned, now ten years later, a lot more people suggest it. Con sets themes must age like fine wine

Mentioning that SpyTroops is coming up on its 10th Anniversary makes me feel really old.
