At this point, I think I am in the process of changing gears a little on my collecting habits. As I was in the process of jamming another item in to my collection, I knocked a bunch of stuff over and got mad how difficult it was to retrieve these items from the abyss of my collection. In the process getting them back, I got fist fulls of dust bunnies. I decided at that moment I wanted my display to change to it was much cleaner both in presentation and dust content. You can't stop dust, no matter how hard you try. But I figure if I space things out and de-clutter it, it will be easier to clean and just look nicer.

With some exceptions, I decided I wanted only 1 representation of each kind of vehicle in my collection. I have all the different AWE Striker variants, I only have the original green out now. The rest got packed up. Same goes for most everything else I had multiples of. I don't want to get rid of any of these things, at least not yet. Besides, I have a table set aside to pull items from storage and setup dios. I plan to rotate out the dio space as I feel like it.

I make it no secret that I prefer o-ring figures over the 25th style. I'm not debating it with anyone, it is simply my personal preference. I planned on keeping them still in my display, but I just wasn't feeling it. So I pulled nearly every single one of them out. The only ones left or are the convention Blades with the SAS Chopper, the 3 figures from the 2009 CanJoeCon set, the Arctic Hiss driver, and the TRU Snow Serpent. That's it. While my room is still a disaster of transition, I am already happier with it. I still love the 25th vehicle remakes so those still have a place, they are just being manned by o-ring drivers.

As far as things I want to get, I still need to complete my Night Force vehicle collection. I need the Night Boomer so I am on the hunt for that. I also love the Wolverine so I am looking for the Action Force version of it. Besides that, I am just picking up things as they come along that I like. I expect to turn down the number of new items I get now that I have pretty much just switched off 25th figures in my collection. That is a good thing, I should save more money. :)

My collecting is starting to wind down due partly to space, due partly to paying off my car early and getting money for a downpayment on a house, and due partly to picking back up a Lego habit.

I've picked up a handful of POC, but I'm mostly just grabbing the classic figures like Low-Light and the upcoming Crazy Legs. I'm pretty sure I'll bite on the Skystriker when it comes out. I'm grabbing the Classic and Special Missions trades from IDW and the ARAH series. Probably switching to trades on their main series when season 2 comes out.

I'm almost to the point where I'm content with what I have as a GIJoe collector and happy to pick up the new things that interest me, but not compelled to get one of everything.

I plan on getting not only the mainline Skystriker but also the SDCC exclusive. Hasbro is trolling guys like me, and I love it. Normally I pick and chose what I like but these damn POC figures are numbered and I, I, I can't have gaps if I have 5 I HAVE TO HAVE 6.

Fortunately last year I managed to obtain a mail-in Ninja Viper from a pretty good guy, so that completed my vintage collection (except for variations). I need some accessories to complete a few of the fig.

Right know it is keeping up with the modern stuff that I am interested in, and completing figures and vehicles when the necessary pieces are available.

Oh, and I need to figure out where/how to display my stuff.

currently I am working on my Python Patrol set. I am going to Joe con and the set comes with 6 soldiers & 2 Tele Vipers. I have 6 CC, 6 Vipers, 3 officers, and 1 Copperhead. So I am doing a nice set up with PP figures. Once it is all done I will take pics and post.

I'm letting Joe rest a bit while I focus on many other toylines, Crystar, Tribot, Centurions, Captain Power, etc... I thought about collecting Starcom...until I saw the crazy prices they go for (and I thought Transformers were expensive)

I am working on my vintage collection. Its coming around nicely; 250 figs so far and counting. It was nice to see that I have on year 100% complete and several pretty darn close. I do need to make a few decisions though.....
I have a masiv star wars collection to dissolve and a ton of Sideshow to deal with. I think the focus of my collection will be vintage as modern I stay on top of. I do tend to bounce around a bit with my vintage. At Joe con I dropped a ton of money on a UK APC.....no regrets but that purchase could have gone to several vintage figures I lack. Still, its one heck of a piece.

Once I get the bulk of my collection sold off I'll concentrate on specific figures and the rare stuff.

Skyduster.. I'm looking at you..

At the moment I'm just saving up money for the new POC waves that are supposed to hit within the month. After I get those in hand I'll decide if I want to army build the Troopers or Vipers. Both look pretty neat from photos.

I'm working on picking up parts for a Tomahawk I'm rebuilding. Bought the shell of it at a Community Garage sale last year, but it was missing a ton of stuff. This is my first time trying to piece together a vintage vehicle, it's been fun so far!

I'm also trying to get rid of much of my trade fodder. Been able to get rid of a lot of stuff since January.

And then it's on to save up for everything we saw at JoeCon. I'll be buying darn near everything we saw....very excited!

Same here.

I've reduced what I'm purchasing quite a bit and focusing in on only items I like as opposed to being a completist.

Unfortunately, I've been liking a lot of Sideshow Star Wars lately (Cody, Yoda, Bly etc) which means less volume, more expense.

I am also a wrestling fan and have been buying a lot of Mattel figs lately.
