Tales from Castle Destro was born of my frustration at the short supply of G.I. Joe themed fiction available. That's not to say there isn't a lot of good material out there, but I was interested in stories that didn't feature the same small group of core characters. Determined to write the kind of stories I wanted the read, I started a fan-fiction blog and began work on a short story. I created new characters and dropped them into the existing world with the intention of exploring new areas. To my surprise, it was well-received by friends and fellow fans, who encouraged me to continue writing about the characters I’d introduced.

Tales from Castle Destro Volume I - Mercenary War is available as a free ebook. This is a collected volume of the first twenty-two chapters published at the blog.



Tales from Castle Destro Volume II - Aftermath is also available as a free ebook. This contains another twenty chapters, which pick up immediately after Volume I ends.

Synopsis:

In the cutthroat world of international arms sales, James McCullen Destro and his MARS corporation have always been in the forefront as the premier independent weapon supplier to any in need. I cannot wait to read this! I bookmarked it, but I'm going to try and hold off until I finish the volume I'm currently writing. I tend to need to refer to my notes often to make sure I'm not contradicting what I'd written previously, so I really don't want to accidentally co-opt any of your ideas. I know how important feedback is to an author, so I'll make sure to get in touch after I've read it.
