Been hunting Visionaries on eBay lately. I'd really love to finish the line up - when did it get so danged expensive?

Really? what bought the craving for Visionaries on? I only bought one back in the day, I just couldn't support another toy line habit at the time. Every once in a while I start looking up Starcom or air Raiders and contemplate expanding my childhood collection as there was a few things that I didn't get that I still want but, yeah, got a real problem with some of the prices.

Well, I had almost the entire line as a kid, and it's the only thing my parents ever convinced me to sell off at a garage sale. I've been hunting the figures down over the last couple years, but the last few things I need keep showing up at insane prices. It's a great toy line and Joe style construction drives up its appeal to me.

Ah! Rebuilding the lost collection. I was wondering if it was completing the uncompleted or if it was something like a toy line that just now got your interest. I remember wanting the Lancer Cycle as a kid but I couldn't bring myself to buy it if I didn't have a figure to go in it first. So I spent my money on the figure and never saw the cycle in the store again when I had the money to get it. I still leer at it lecherously from time to time.

Yeah, I had the entire line as a kid except for the Capture Chariot and the Sky Claw. Big mistake selling all that off.
Other than Visionaries, I'm trying to slowly re-complete Sky Commanders and Mega Force.

I never got into Sky Commanders, I had a few friends who had one or two and they always looked like a nightmare tangle of string and foldy plates but Mega Force was awesome! I still have all of mine, was there anything in particular you are looking for?

I would like peace and serenity.

Actually I wouldn't mind a nice Serenity, the ship from Firefly. But I don't think they make a really nice one, just a crappy little Christmas ornament.

I really want to get into high end die-cast space ships. I'd like to start with the Space Battleship Yamato, and the SDF-1, but man are they expensive. Some of the 3rd party Transformers like the Hearts of Darkness Shockwave would be interesting additions to the collection. Again, pretty pricey.

On the G.I. Joe front I suddenly find myself really wanting a prototype vintage style Vamp. I don't really care which one, the 25th version, or the 25th Stinger would be fine. Have most of the other Vamp's, so that would be the next logical step.

I've really been cutting back on what I collect lately, but there are a few small holes I'd like to fill. Like Sam I'd like to finish off the Visionaries. I think I'm down to just Reekon? BTW Sam, I'm selling off the vehicles if your interested.

1970's early 80's Sci-fi has been high on my list lately. I need 1 more vehicle to complete my "UFO Commander 7" line. It's an obscure line of die-cast construction robots. Need 2 figures to complete my Mini GoDaikin Shogun Warriors. Just getting into a small die-cast line called Adventure 2000. Only about 6 items in the line, and they are reasonably common.

2 final notes. Primus did not use Unicron's mold. They are 2 totally different figures. All of the Visionaries vehicles, including the Lancer Cycle came with figures.
