That's some really fantastic art. There really were some awesome designs in store for Sigma 6.

Well...in context. There's not many of us left to get geeked over Sigma 6 stuff.

A lot of the art there is from existing figures, though there are some new pieces as well. The 2.5" VAMP takes up a lot of real estate in various forms, but what gets me is this picture:

None of these guys have been shown or revealed before, so I'm dying to know who they are.

This is another favorite:

Love that Zartan. The half-translucent concept is great, especially with that robe hanging off him. Man.

Folks who love the Pursuit of Cobra, thank Sigma 6, I still firmly believe a lot of the accessorization concepts and neo-future design ideas were born from the 8" line.

middle dude screams Kamakura to me. guys on either side look like Joe Colton.

those half track designs remind me of Perceptor that just came out for the Transformers line.

I'm gonna guess that in order, they're Dusty, Kamakura and Taurus. I have nothing to support that.

Yeah, I'm not buying Kamakura...his hair looks to have a hint of gray in it, he's got pretty mean eyes, and with the whole "Kung Fu Grip" transition near the end of the line, a much larger focus was being placed on ninjas (IE, the Dark Ninja Master) so I'm willing to bet it was a totally new character.

There had been some whispers of an Adventure Team "Outback"... Recondo was incorrectly labelled as such early in his release, but it stands to reason that the figure was still in the planning stages. I could see that figure on the far right being him. He seems to have AT Snake Eyes' torso, which would lend some credence to being an Adventure Team era figure.

The guy on the left, I have no idea. Possibly an Adventure Team guy, but that silenced machine gun seems to indicate a more military character.

Ironically, near the end, Sigma 6 was putting a huge focus towards new characters. Everyone blames Sigma 6 for an onslaught of Dukes and Snake Eyes (and they are correct in doing so) but near the end, a ton of new guys were coming out in the Combat Squad line and in the Adventure Team. Even the regular line was slated to get Iron Fist, Zanzibar, Short Fuse, and Wrecking Ball...
