Figured I'd post some of these, as they've come up some in my collection pics thread.

The first is a desert Tele-viper. It's a simple repaint of the Spy Troops version. Eventually, I'd like to get the whole squat painted up identical. Nothing too elaborate, I like to keep the customs playable and look like a repaint that may have possibly existed:

Next is my desert Medi-Viper, repainted from the DTC figure. Again, just a simple repaint, meant to retain the look and feel of the original:

On the Joe side, the next custom is intended to be a CIA liason for the Joes. It's a combination of parts I don't recall, but no real heavy modifications:

Here's a self-custom I did waaaay back based on the gear I carried at the time (2003). It's crazy to think how much my kit load-out and weaponry has changed over the years:

The green and tan on the Medi-Viper compliment each other very well. The camo patterns are quite nice.

Thanks Rog. I've never been a big customizer - just like to fill in what I see as gaps in the collection. All my kitbash customs follow the rule of only using spare parts - I refuse to buy anything for the purpose of a custom.

That was my exact reason for starting customs in the first place. But that became hard to justify when I would make a figure like Bishop from the X-Men, and a year later ToyBiz would put him on the shelves. Got so sick of making figures that would eventually see release. So started going a bit more obscure, and original.
