I spent a few hours working on my plan to make the new HISS into an R/C.
And I was able to get it 95% done. All I need is some Epoxy to fill and strengthen where the parts meet.

I doubt you guy care to much about the how or why, so let's get right to the pictures.

my question is; why not? the Cross Fire was awesome and a great blending of two styles of toy. that's really cool what you've done. would be cool to have an R/C race for the next JoeCon. set standards and limitations. but see what vehicle some people choose and see them all racing. tons of fun!

The GIJCC has done that. Custom RC vehicles that go through an obstacle course for the best time. Not quite head to head like your thinking.

I love this idea. That version of the hiss is perfect for this. If you could get the remote missile launcher off of one of those mini RC helicopters this would be over the top awesome.

I did, I used to have one many years ago and seeinf the new HISS made me think of it.
I tried to look for other tracked R/C vehicles, but nothing really seemed to feel right.

I might pick up some white LED's to put on the front end as headlights.
