So I'm selling off my Sigma 6 figures this week. Moving soon, downsizing drastically, and they just have to go. The things are just too big. Even in storage my collection takes up a whole shelving unit, I just can't spare that much space after I move.
But I digress. Let me get to the point.
Now that I'm pulling them out of storage, and taking a whole new look at them, I can't believe how awesome some of these figures are. I grant you, the line started off pretty rocky, that first wave was, for the most part, ugly. But once they picked up steam, the line really took off. Especially the with the introduction of new characters like Stone, Desert Wolf, and Dark Ninja Master. Why hasn't Hasbro brought some of these guys into the 4 inch line?
And to think what was on the horizon. They had to be thinking about Serpentor when they made Windfire Cobra Commander. In fact I don't know why they didn't just make him Serpentor? All it really needed was a new head and gold paint in place of silver. I'm sure they could have really done a mind blowing S6 Serpentor at some point, but even just a repaint of that figure would have been pretty decent on it's own.
Who wouldn't have wanted Colton and Short Fuse? Colton had huge crossover appeal, not just with 12" fans but people into things like Indian Jones. Short Fuse, come on that figure was bad ass.
Really is sad that the line ended.
