Code Name: Blast Off DVD News

I figured this was the best place for the news I just recieved.

Back in March I heard about the DVD documentary Code Name: Blast off which is all about the early days of 3 3/4" Joes Directed by Tristan Rudat and produced by Ron Rudat. I sent off an email asking about where I could get a copy of the movie and today I got a reply!

I had no idea he was going to do that. It was kinda cool. It was really cool that my girlfriend recognized everyone that she met once at the 2008 joe con. Who knows Gary, maybe you will be in the next movie, "Operation Blast Off- Back with a Vengence!!!!". LOL.

I like the Declassified News letter that made an appearance and Troy's tattoo.

Got my DVD in the mail yesterday! There was even a cool little surprise included: a signed Ron Rudat "baseball card" from CJC (at least I assume it's from the CJC since it had their logo on the back

)

Overall, it was an enjoyable documentary that I can see myself watching more than once. I did have one small problem (but I think it has more to do with one of the DVD players than the DVD itself) When I played it on the living room DVD player the audio would buzz and go out whenever there was any white on the screen, I tried bringing the video level down and nothing. However, it played just fine on the DVD player upstairs so I assume it may have something to do with the DVD player or the switcher box all the DVD & video game cables are running through.
