First things first... a VERY VERY VERY special thanks to Glumby for lending me these two figures as they are not my own. But Glumby was kind enough to let me review them first hand. Amongst my review pics are some outdoor dio pics taken by my friend Cake (we had a lot of fun in the mud being munched on by mosquitoes and stared at by patrons of the park we took these pics in. One kid apparently thought these were Halo toys. Poor GI JOE).

Also making an appearance is Cake's mildly but effectively altered HISS V. So thanks to Cake for his contribution shots of an Alley-Viper getting straddled by Quarrel Scarlett.




STEEL BRIGADE DELTA (VAMP 2011 DRIVER) and AIR-VIPER (RENEGADES VTOL BLACK DRAGON PILOT)

As far as I'm concerned, these are two of the greatest vehicle drivers ever. I've been absolutely disappointed with 99% of vehicle drivers since ROC (with the exception of Volcano Viper who is stellar for what he is)... but these two... (and the upcoming Horseman HISS driver) are just cool as hell.
The actual Steel Brigade Delta head is kinda blah but I love the mask. And Air-Viper is just fantastic... like it was totally ripped out of a cartoon and given some edge.

That head on SB Delta looks like it could be used to make an updated v4 Snake Eyes... I wonder

Ah, I whiffed on the name of the Black Dragon pilot in the last podcast. Whoops!

And Gary, were your Air-Viper's knees funky too, in that they don't bend straight? Seems like it's an issue with the kneepad, but I wasn't sure if it was just mine or not.
