One of the bonuses of Joecon is that you can have one on one talks with Hasbro staff..

we came up with an Idea:

If Hasbro decided to make us EXACTLY what we want in a figure, lest say for example, a 7 pack of Female Vipers, at a lower production number, and took PRE ORDERS from fans.
But because of the exclusive direct to fans process the price would be slightly larger, lets say 60 bucks instead of the 45 7 pack price. Similar to how Sideshow pre orders their figures.

Would you buy one? or several?

Not that thrilled with the idea of female Vipers. If the set had a different theme, I might be more interested.

I can see why they don't currently do this because finding the right theme to please a majority of collectors enough that they spend the higher price is very hard. I'd like to say that there would be a theme for me to drop $60 on, but I am a pretty cheap person (I still haven't bought the Resolute sets)

If you break the price down though, that would only come out to around $8.57 which is around the price we pay for figures right now anyway

Vipers wouldn't be my first choice (blueshirts would), but yeah, I'd be down for one.

I did not vote, because I really do not collect modern era figures. I am a RAH collector and that is all I collect. Now, after having said that, I would buy this set, if Hasbro made it in the same quality/appearance as the one this customizer did.

Those figures look great and I think the only way some of those would sell, is if they all came in a set.

I may get flak for this, but I really couldn't give two craps about getting female versions of Cobra troopers. In my mind there are so many other cool possibilities, I have absolutely zero interest in that.

That's not to say I wouldn't like collector-focused 7 packs on a pre-order basis, but the female pack idea specifically I want nothing to do with.

I feel bad saying this, but I've never paid full price on a 7 pack yet. I know that's not supporting the line, but when a toy line that I collect starts to engrain in my head that every single 7 pack they come out with is going to show up at Ross stores at half the price five-six months down the road, I really don't go for it til it hits Ross.

I'm like that with Cinnabon too. I love those rolls, but if you keep giving me the option of buying the just expired ones at half off certain days of the week, then that's what I'm gonna do :D

My problem is that my desire for each pack would vary depending on what it was.

Female trooper pack? Not that interested.

Oktober Guard pack? GIMME!! (but just 1)

That unreleased IG pack? Maybe (but just 1)

Dreadnoks? Pass
