The Ross stuff is what got me. I have always prided myself on not being one of those guys that has more than he can appreciate. Moving, a curious toddler and a lot of product all around the same time and I now have my own pile of boxes to go through. Luckily this dry spell in the toy isles will help me get caught up.

I can't help it, I have to open whatever I just bought within an hour of getting home. However, I do have a Battletech toy and a More & Mindy figure I meant to open but haven't yet (The Mork figure is goiung on 3 years now :) In both of these cases I want to get packaged pictures first then open)

I am terrible about buying stuff and letting it pile up before I open it, then when I finally get around to it I have FIFTEEN vehicles to label and since it amuses Hasbro these days to give bigger vehicles dozens of microscopic stickers to apply the pile just rises and rises.

One of my collecting goals is to get things opened and displayed within 2 days of purchase/arrival.

I can certainly relate.

My "Chamber of Plastic" is simply out of control between 3 3/4" Joes, Sideshow Joes & SW, Hot Toys Iron Man, Mattel WWE and a few lone DCUC and ML figures.

At the price we pay for these things anymore, I want to be able to sit down, open the item and be able to take a good look at it while keeping all the accessories/oieces together without having to put it down to grab the cell phone for work, kids for weekend events and Momma's Honey-Do list.

Weeknights are spent just trying to unwind and relax before getting up and doing it all over again.

Funny you should post this, as my family will be away for the weekend so I'll be on an opening/hunting spree :P

I'm just bad for making piles. Doesn't really matter what it is...toys, bills, comics, etc.
