I also didn't see the playsets at my Walmart until they were on clearance. I figure they didn't have room to put them out on the normal shelves, and then after Christmas they did their reset and the playsets didn't have a spot so the computers put them on clearance, and then they went right to the clearance shelf. It was both cool and annoying. Cool because I got some great sets for like $8 each, annoying because I think they could have been really good sellers had they been given the chance. Even at $15 I think they were a really good deal.

In regards to the original post, I don't think that a wave full of new characters would be a good idea, but I could get behind one or two new characters per wave.

If Hasbro did a fan poll for what small playsets we wanted, what would you vote for? For the sake of realism let's say a) the shelf space for the box could only 1.5'^3, b) it has to have at least two play features (also what would those be?), and c) the cost would be between $20-30.

HI Guys...new here...my two cents...Hasbro should consider doing the rest of the vintage on POC or whatever it will be called in the future.

I love to see an update done of all battle corps (1992-1994) figures but with a better color scheme and not the loud colors of the early 1990's.

I wouldn't mind seeing a select few, because there are some real standouts during those years, but I'm really sick of seeing updates of things we've already had for 20+ years. I think it's time to sprinkle in the new rehash and let entirely new characters and concepts be the driving force behind the line.

At this point I don't want any straight-up redo of vintage. Not after seeing what they can do with PoC.

PoC Lifeline and Airtight (upcoming ones) are somewhat okay because they are better detailing and accessories. But I wouldn't want a figure like Cover Girl just made in PoC packaging without some serious updating.

Well at this point I'd really want a Zombie quarantine/lab/hold etc. They could pack it with Mindbender and toss in some fun stuff like 'build-a-B.A.T.' and large vats of Compound Z. It could have a vent system where you can put Snake-Eyes or Stalker so they can 'sneak in' to the lab and what would be REALLY cool is if the lab wasn't open on all sides... if it was actually like a shoe-box dio where the outer casing of it looks like the outside of the lab so that you can do inside and outside dios/play.

So a Venomization Chamber http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/05/venomizationchamber in a window box, like the 25th vehicles were, using the cardboard panels acting as the surroundings for the diorama? Instructions for safely cutting out the grate and other "play" features could easily added (... think PIT cardboard accessories as the worst).

LIKE a shoe box dio. As in a dio that isn't open on all sides. NOT shoe box size and certainly not cardboard. Something like the TMNT sewer set...

Hasbro would care enough for G.I. Joe to really secure it's mythos much like starwars. To really invest on it to have it's own coffee table book and have a guide to the universe type of book. To bring it back like in the 80's where they release per year and they have a leader, a heavy machine gunner, a girl figure, an edge weapon specialist, a dreadnok, cobra troopers for army building, a cold weather specialist, a jungle specialist.
