Again... humor of the shirt aside, we're not here to flame other boards. Please stay on-topic. If you want to talk about the shirt, do it in PM or I'll take those posts down.

man, that thing is huge; don't know where I am going to find space for one, none-the-less the two or three I will be inclined to buy.

but my question is if Hasbro can get a large, new sculpted vehicle of this size at such a low price point, why have they been sabotaging the brand with such high price-points for several years? there are so many vehicles Hasbro could release at this size and price that collectors would buy up in droves (or at least claim they would).

I really like the engineering that went into this version of the beloved Skystriker. It is kinda reminiscent of the old days when I opened a box and there were a million pieces to assemble. I have 2 of the originals(1 is my custom Night Boomer WIP). I will for sure snag one of the new release ones. I will also almost be willing to sell part of my soul for the SDCC one. Any version of the Skystriker I don't have is one I want to own.

I'm hoping for at least a 6-pack of these suckers. Gorgeous.

I've been somewhat wondering this off and on..

I'm thinking that maybe Hasbro is willingly taking a hit on the Skystriker to try to help build the brands retail presence back up?

But the timing seems off. We know that the 30th stuff will stop when Joe: Cobra Strikes comes out with it's line. So if Hasbro was going to take a hit on something, wouldn't it make sense to do so after the movie stuff?

So maybe they are taking a hit just for the fans?

Because really, the price point for the Skystriker, based on recent releases, should easily be up around 60 or so.
