The Crimson Horseman is way, way, way cooler then the what was shown in Canada. Hasbro Canada showed a much more crimson all over version that blended in too much with the tank IMO.

FYI, while I had nothing to do with the overall design or the head, I did paint a 125 of those Traceroute figures. So people talking about it in a thread with preproduction goodness like this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Huge thanks for sharing, Gary! My love of the v5 HISS and the Crimson Guard have me going nuts with anticipation for this.

I might be one of the few without an opinion on this, but I really don't have a preference towards the flat red or the vac metal look. I can see value in each, so I'll be happy either way.

Actually, I find myself leaning more towards a vac metal production run so that this one is even more of a prize find.

All that said, I'll probably end up using a good old fashioned 25th CG as a driver when I finally come across one. I like the Horseman's helmet, but the neck down leaves me a little underwhelmed.

I have to admit I'm really not feeling the tank, although the Horseman driver is phenomenal. I'm pretty much burned out on crimson and repaints in general unless they fall into a specific niches (tiger force, python patrol, etc).

I am sure I will get one of these HISS tanks; though, I was never a huge fan of the first last one (currently boxed) and passed on the black repaint, it was just too much of a space hog on the shelves. Not to mention, the oops in engineering with the treads. But yeah, to beat a dead horse, the driver and the accessories are the gem with this vehicle.
