I have a question I hope a person here can answer me please. The Gold head Destro has two different date codes. One starts with a 7 and the other with an 8. Is the 7 the one that was sold at the Comic Con and the 8 the one that was sold on Hasbro ToyShop?

Destros with a Date Code that starts with a 7 were carded in 2007 (Both sold at SDCC and HTS) Date codes that start with an 8 signify that the figure was carded in 2008 (I believe the theory is that those came from the international market but I could be remembering incorrectly) Hasbro basically claims they don't exsist (Technically they say there were no later "production runs" of the figure after the first run in 2007)

I have 71112 - that is across the board on the silver and gold ones I have.

Shogi is right, the 7 stands for 2007. 111 is the Julian Date of when the card was stamped (and presumably left the factory), which is on or about April 21st. 2 could be a factory code from what I have been told.

And just to be clear... they are not bootlegs... the later ones.
