Greetings to my fellow Declassified board members and Joe fans!

I've been a Joe fan myself essentially since the line started, became an official collector around the end of 1991, and have been involved with the online Joe scene since the mid-90s (I can remember when there was no Yojoe.com). My handle is bithomas on most boards, though I usually register on new boards as b_i_thomas to avoid confusion as to the pronunciation of the handle. As I learned at the 2007 Joe convention, most people thought it was BUY-THOMAS and that it represented my ... preference (it's simply intended as first initial-middle initial-last name, which was assigned to me as my NC State computer network ID back in 1995 - it doesn't represent my preference anyway *not that there's anything wrong with that* like Seinfeld would say).

I also collect Star Wars, Transformers, and Marvel Universe figures.

I'll be at the Joe convention again this year for the fifth time. Try not to laugh too hard when I make a crappy custom in the customizing class. :)

Yeah, I remember the two sites that formed it, too... Eugene Son's G.I. Joe Action Figure Archive and Corey Stinson's... I can't pull the title off of my brain right now. It was the Wild West, to be sure.

As far as I can remember, Corey didn't have a site prior to YoJoe. We did collaborate on a Joe e-mail newsletter which I think predated YoJoe, and it at one time was archived on YoJoe though I can't seem to find the links to it anymore. FOUND IT - http://yojoe.com/faq/, under the Newsletter heading. Since there is a page referenced in the newsletter, maybe Corey did have a site back then.

YoJoe does still have archives of the Pit mailing list, though I think it must be incomplete since I know I made more than three posts to it. :) Man, that was a blast from the past going through the digests. So many people that I haven't heard from in years, and a few that are still around (GI Trekker, Corey, Rod Pellegrini). I had forgotten that Larry Hama had even posted to the list.
