Poking around the site a bit, I see a lot of familiar folks, but for those who don't know me, my name is Don Maue. My user name is derived from my USMC nickname combined with the highest rank I attained whilst serving as an infantryman in my beloved Corps. I am a life-long Joe fan that abandoned the hobby upon reaching 'adulthood'. I returned to the brand at the tail end of the 25th Anniversary line. I am a collector, a customizer and as of late, a writer, as well. My custom works, as well as some by my wife and children, can be seen at Our Basement Workshop. No, I can't rhyme to save my life, and you really don't want to see me dance!

That song is where most people assume the nickname came from. I actually picked it up because I spent more than my fair share of time at the unit's 'designated smoking area', which was located next to a brick wall... which we'd sit on as we smoked. Because I am an idiot, it took me nearly three weeks to figure out that the nickname had nothing to do with that song (which was still recent at the time).
