Hey everyone, been around a couple of the other forums for a while and decided that it was time to join in on the Declassified project.
I've been collecting regularly since the 25th line, although played with and had quite a few of the toys as a kid in the 80s.
Really a sucker for any of the aircraft. My first toy plane as a kid was the Skystriker, once I was 18 I enlisted in the Navy and went to Naval Aviation as an aircraft mechanic. I was stationed at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans from 1991-1198. After I got out of the the service I stayed in NOLA until 2002 working on Bourbon street. Then I went back to school for my true love, aircraft. I regularly joke that Joe got me into my current field. I'm an aircraft mechanic working on Corporate aircraft like Learjets, Citations, and Gulfstreams because of the Toy. I am also a Commercial rated pilot looking to possibly go over to the flying side of the house.
Also, married to a great woman that lets me collect my Joes. Had to scale back some since she went back to school for her Master's degree, but she graduates May 5 as a Nurse Anesthetist. So, JoeCon this year will be a celebration for both of us, lol.
Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble. YoJoe!
