I've been a Joe fan since my first figure (Barbeque v1). Growing up, I watched the Sunbow cartoon, but was especially interested in the comics. I stopped seriously collecting Joe around the early 1990s, but I occasionally used to still stop by the toy aisle to see if there were new versions of my favorite character, Storm Shadow. When the 25th Anniversary hit retail, it turn my nostalgia into overdrive, and now I am collecting full force again.

There's not much about the Joes I don't love. There's a special place in my heart of the original O-Ring figures, and I'd like to eventually complete my collection of the first 5 years of vintage figures. But I also love the new designs and sculpts of the PoC and the upcoming 30th Anniversary. I even dabble a little in Sigma 6 and 12" figures.

I've also been branching out into the creative side and creating customs and dios. It's one of the reasons I hit the Joe forums...to get inspiration and technical know-who from some of the amazing work some of you guys do.

I belong to a number of different Joe forums already. I've been listening (and enjoying) "What's on Joe Mind", and they've name-dropped this site a couple times, so I thought I would check you out. Thanks for having me.

Glad you found your way here. Despite my general distaste for the repetitive nature of the 25th stuff, it at least succeeded in bringing a whole new crowd back to the hobby. Welcome aboard!

Yeah, say what you will about 25th Anniversary or the RoC movie/toyline, it got a lot of people interested in GI Joe again, myself included. Perhaps not the demographic that Hasbro was hoping to target, but still...
