Hello all. You've probably seen my net handel on other boards, and if so you'll remember me as the guy with all the spelling errors. I appalogize now.

But we're not here to talk about that, we're here to talk about Joes. I love Joes, infact I can't get enough of them. I have more Joes then any of the guys I went to school with, actually I wound up with all their Joes over time. I got my first Joe (85 Shipwreck) back in 1986 when I was 3 and the rest of my life has been an uncontrolable downward spiral into a world of tiny plastic troopers. First I got one of each charecter, then I had to get one of each version of each charecter, now I'm buying variants, international, licensed items, heck I'm even starting to look into vintage 12" figures. G.I. Joe was one of 2 toylines I collected as a kid, the other is M.A.S.K., which thanks to John Warden is now part of G.I. Joe.

My dad had 12" Joes when he was young, a 12" Blond Sailor was among them. Thats why he bought me my first Shipwreck. From that point on I was hooked, I watched the cartoons, I'd ask my dad about the equipment, it was awesome. I was super super lucky becuse everybody hits that age where they are too old for toys, for me that was 1995 and Joe had already gone away. But even durring that time I still bought Joes used when I found them at the flea market. When 1997 came I got back into them and by 2003 I was full on addicted again.

I'm a collector, completest, customizer, and army builder. Little pointless bits of knowlage and informations means alot to me. It's all relavent in the overall history and as such is a peice of G.I. Joe. I have a thurst to always know more about G.I. Joe, there is alwasy some little bit out there, always something to hunt for. So soak up everything you find, learn about the hobby, educate yourself, you'll appreciate it even more.

Now for a little non-joe info about me. My name is Troy, I'm mairred to a wonderful woman who puts up with and supports my obsesion. We don't have any kids or pets. I work as a AV geek at the local community college. I bought the house I grew up in from my parents so I would not have to move my toys. We live in a little town on the edge of the world in Northeast Colorado. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer, but hey it's home.
