Looking at picture two, the torpedo launcher looks like it's apart of the base under the attachment points of the fold down sections. If the launcher was fitted in a manner between the arc of the opening folded down sections it could easily be used in the "open" postion.

I might have missed this in the podcast but once the playset is opened up, how far off the ground are the arms? Specifically the helipad? I didn't know how much of the faux rock face would be on the exterior & how that would effect the height once opened.

I see a problem with the new drawing (picture one) versus the old drawings of pictures two and ten.

In the original, it looks like the missile tower lowered and covered by a flanking two part mountain shell leaving the ramp to the helipad and flip down battle stations to cover the front and back. There are only four side that fold up and pic two and ten clearly has those behind the the mountain shell, thus the playset folded up should look like two humps or a two part oval. One where the retracting missile launcher is shelled under using the helipad and the ramp to it and then the other one, made up of the fold down sides closing the interior with the top level as a top. This would be unlike the one in the new picture, which shows it is all covered.

Not sure if this is mis-remembering, oversight or "it's just a drawing" in this situation.

Comment please !

If you use the General flip out aircraft station and mount the smaller dual cannons of the Terror drome to it (8.5 inches), that should make the section about no larger than 13-15 inches. Some of the fold out sections have stairs were figures could be placed, so you figure 2 to 4 inches of depth is needed. As long as the height of the center base is the same all the side should lay flat. In turn making this when folded down have a larger diameter foot print than the Terror drome, which is 26 diameter.

Great episode! There were a few things I glossed over when I first looked at the toy fair pics that I never noticed til you guys mentioned them in the episode (Light piping and color changes from press release pics, etc...)

How come you guys skipped over talking about Jinx? You kinda said hey here's Jinx, now on to the next wave. I was curious how everyone felt with the figure having the same torso as the other Jinx figures and how the paint job kinda clashed with the mold (IE: painted straps/lines going horizontal and vertical while molded hems/straps are going diagonal)

I'm still glad they're making another AWE-Striker and that they made a few small changes to it, that will be the first vehicle I buy.

The next episode sounds awesome! I'm really excited about Sorenson's new book.

Tolan is correct, but it looks like the section that houses the pop up missile launcher also has the jail cell. That portion of the set would not of had a fold down arm and the torpedo launcher could have been moved to that area of the set. Then the torpedos could be launched while the arms are down or up.

It looks like the heli-pad would have been shallower in depth than the other arms, due to the missile launcher it covered and the lack of play features. The heli-pad arm was the only one that did not have a movable/collapsable play feature or gun emplacement for a figure. So, I agree with Tolan that the other arms would have been around 4 inches in depth, while the heli-pad arm would have been around 2 inches in depth.
